Pastor Andrew Schmidt
About Pastor Andrew
Andrew has been East Tallassee Baptist Church’s pastor since July 2017. He and his wife Katie have one son, Haddon, and are expecting another child in December 2018. Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts in History and Theology from the University of Mobile in 2011 and his Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2018. He came to be a follower of Jesus at a young age and answered the call to vocational gospel ministry as a teenager. Since that time, the Lord has graciously afforded him numerous opportunities for biblical teaching and preaching in a variety of positions within local churches. Andrew has a desire to see East Tallassee Baptist Church serve its surrounding neighborhood while simultaneously possessing a heart for the nations (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8). He desires to see East Tallassee Baptist Church become a multi-racial, multi-ethnic, and multi-generational church who is passionate about evangelism and discipleship.

Stephanie Ingram, Secretary
Stephanie has been East Tallassee Baptist Church’s secretary since August of 2008. She and her family have been members of ETBC since September 2007and she has been married to her husband, Jonathan, for 20 years, June of 2018. They have two sons, Jacob (16) and Cole (14). Stephanie loves music and is a part of the ETBC Praise Team and Choir, where she feels most passionate, serving the Lord through Praise and Worship Music.
Upon being approached to consider the job as secretary of ETBC back in 2008, she had been working at Tallassee Family Care as a medical assistant for Dr. Brandon Johnson and Dr. James Westberry. “The idea was to go back to nursing school to get my certification to be a medical assistant or RN degree, but God had other plans for my life at that time. My daily walk with the Lord, faith through the journey, and God’s grace as he revealed His sovereignty to me, grew as I took a leap of faith to take this job as secretary, which I had no experience in administration, but my belief is, God had been preparing me my whole life for this job, understanding all sides of what it means to serve as a staff member and as a member of the body of Christ here at ETBC. It is a great honor and privilege to be a-part of this faith family. All glory and honor I give to my Father in heaven for without Him this life is without meaning and purpose!” There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1
